The Company

Our client manufactures pressure sensors for the automotive industry. They are a successful, growing company and the post provides a great opportunity for future development for the right candidate.

The Role

The are looking to recruit a Customer Returns Technician to join their Quality team. The successful candidate will report in to the Quality Manager.

The purpose of the role is to support the Quality team in ensuring continuous quality improvement throughout the business.

This will involve:

  • Fault Finding
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis
  • Visual Inspection
  • Electronic Testing and inspection of PCBs
  • Customer interfacing regarding customer returns and feedback about incoming returns
  • Writing Failure Analysis reports and leading 8D Reporting for Non-conformances

The Successful Candidate

In order to be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years’ experience in a QA or Test Technician role along with:

  • HNC in an engineering field (Electronics biased preferable)
  • Understanding of common electronic components
  • Hand-soldering, de-soldering and reflow
  • Working understanding of PCB schematics and engineering drawings
