Shift Industrial Electrician (Wakefield) – £31,000 – £33,5000 – Continentals

The Company:
A very well-established Recycling and Waste company based in the Yorkshire area.

The Position:
We are looking to appoint 5 Technicians for the site. The role requires a good electrical background and knowledge with a clear understanding in the mechanical elements also. The role would ideally suit an industrial electrician who has working in a heavy industry type of environment but isn’t afraid to use a spanner!

Requirements:

• Fully Time served
• 17^th Edition
• HNC
• IOSH certifications desirable
• PLC knowledge and Fault Finding Experience
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics knowledge
• Experience in a heavy and fast-moving manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance across all site equipment
• Working on PPMs and reactive breakdowns as appropriate
• Fault Finding and diagnosis of PLC systems
• Support site Continuous Improvement operations

The Location:
Based just outside of Wakefield and within a reasonable commute from local towns and outlying villages. Good road access.
