The Position:

With further expansion and significant plans to grow further our client wishes to recruit a Lean/Industrial Engineer.

The successful candidate will be able to review and improve business and production processes, and support systems which will maintain and achieve strategic operational objectives using a range of lean/continuous improvement processes.

The role will be a day shift position, salary range offered is £30,000 – £38,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Create documentation to ensure quality standards are maintained in all areas such as; Process Maps and Process Flows.
  • Manage change and development within the business to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members in the use of LEAN Six Sigma and performance improvement.
  • Lead and drive performance improvement and cost reductions projects.
  • Analyse current working methods and implement improvements to optimise efficiency of the manufacturing process, using systems such as :- CAD & SAP.

Requirements:

  • HND or Degree level in Mechanical/Production Engineering, or similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma.
  • CAD Experience and use of project software such as minitab.
  • Project Management Experience.
