The Position:

With further expansion and significant plans to grow further our client wishes to recruit a Project Engineer.

The successful candidate will be able to support and develop production engineering, with an emphasis on projects within; New product development, technology acquisition, process improvements and design and analysis support.

The role will be a day shift position, salary range offered is £30,000 – £35,000.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical lead/support on New Product Introduction and support the NPI Process.
  • To lead and manage mechanical design projects.
  • To support customer’s technical queries to help develop solutions that can be manufactured by the company to meet their needs.
  • To lead project teams as required

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in an Engineering Discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role.
  • Experience of engineering within a bespoke, metal forming, or aerospace environment is desirable.
  • Experience of leading projects and dealing with customers or suppliers.
  • Able to perform engineering design & analysis with respect to machine components and tooling.
