Purchasing Manager (Engineering& Service Contracts) – Stable Manufacturer, Low Turnover of staff

The Position:
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager (with no line management for staff) to work on a permanent basis and be part of an established Procurement team.
The role works will report into the Purchasing Manager, providing purchasing and procurement service for all goods and services including capital projects.

  • The role will be a day shift position with flexible working and a competitive salary depending on experience.

You will provide an efficient order service for all internal customers, expedite all orders, monitor service contracts and ensure renewals are in place and be proactive to develop the procurement processes to bring continuous focus on efficiency and cost reduction.


  • Have experience of working in a CGMP environment
  • At least 5 years’ purchasing experience in a chemical, engineering or pharmaceutical business
  • Understanding of SAP and strong IT skills
