Global ship repair, conversion and marine specialist
The Project Accountant will maintain the customers account during repairs and if necessary, afterwards thorough to the final settlement. They will monitor, maintain and report the financial achievement of the project to the company. Invoke constant change and improvement to provide the best possible service to the departments of the company, and also to customers and suppliers.
The successful applicant will assist the project manager with the evaluation and awarding of sub contracts. They will maintain customers accounts/invoices and the projects working file, negotiate contract variations with suppliers and sub-contractors and agree these with the project manager then negotiate with the customer.
Produce daily work lists for the project team detailing variations to contract, also produce accurate regular account updates for customers. Being able to work to targets is a must.

Experience / Qualifications
The successful Project Accountant will have experience in relationship management, finance and budgeting, also data analysis, excel and management reporting. They will be able to communicate well, make decisions and meet targets. Knowledge of ship yards and marines would be advantageous
Salary / Shifts
£30,000 per annum
