Job Description of a Sales Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director managing the Sales and Marketing team, manage, control and maintain all aspects of product selling. Provide local interface between the business and its prospects, customers and clients.
Promote the sales of manufactured products alongside the marketing strategy, follow up sales leads, advise customers, provide quotations and negotiate with good sales practice and profit targets.
Research and analyse local market opportunities and provide a formal sales plan for discussion with management in line with agreed and developing strategies to attack the market for the best result.
Achieve agreed sales targets.
Create and implement personal business plans in line with the company vision and strategy, improve sale conversion rates, increase sales turnover and profitability.
Skills & experience of a Test Site General Manager
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and have a hunger for success! A clear focus on quality of service and customer satisfaction and a successful track record of leading a team. It is critical that the postholder will be a good communicator, have a flexible attitude to meet the demands of peak workloads and ensure resources are in place.
